Rosella Visintin Helps Foundation Launch CDA Lectures at Harvard

On April 25, 2018, Dr. Rosella Visintin helped the Foundation launch the first “CDA Lecture @ HMS”, giving a talk as part of the Harvard Medical School’s “Cell Biology and Disease Seminar Series” organized by the Department of Cell Biology. Dr. Visintin gave a talk titled, “Clb2 phosphorylation and de-phosphorylation dynamics set the conditions for anaphase progression”.

Dr. Visintin is a Group Leader at the Department of Experimental Oncology at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan: https://www.armeniseharvard.org/portfolio-articoli/rosella-visintin/ . She received the Armenise Harvard Foundation’s largest individual grant, the Career Development Award, from 2005-2010, which enabled her to move to Italy from the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Cambridge, MA.

We are pleased to inaugurate this lecture series, which will bring Career Development Awardees to Harvard to report on their work in Italy, and will help foster collaboration between the talent supported by the Foundation on both sides of the Atlantic.
